Penfield Digital is looking for a Customer Success Manager to join the sales/success team and help to develop and implement the business sales strategy, customer success and drive sustained business growth. As a Customer Success Manager, you will be focused on selling projects based on the marketing strategy and objectives of the customer and how this can be achieved utilizing Salesforce technology. 


Although much of our business is in partnership with Salesforce, you will also identify, approach, acquire and develop mutually beneficial, long-term relationships with customers on your own. Next to our existing customer base, you will also support new business development opportunities.

Our offices are located in Amsterdam and Barcelona, where we work with more than 25 people for our leading clients such as Randstad, Nike Team, WWF, Stichd (a Puma company), Young Capital, AB/InBev, MessageBird, GVB, ABNAMRO. By working closely with the existing internal customer teams, in the field of marketing technology, customer experience, delivery, and data-driven strategies you will be able to represent customer needs and drive customer growth.


You will work closely with the Director of Strategy & Business Development and our internal teams, to ensure that you will be able to represent our customer needs and drive customer growth.


Working as a Customer Success Manager, you will:

  • At least a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 - 6 years of relevant experience in account management or customer success role;

  • Experience in marketing automation, CRM, or software industry;

  • Experience in selling Salesforce Cloud solutions (Marketing Cloud and/or Service / Sales Cloud/Commerce Cloud) is a real advantage;

  • Already having a network of Salesforce contacts is a bonus

  • You are passionate about data analytics & technology;

  • Have excellent communication skills, a drive for targets, motivation, entrepreneurial attitude, and a self-starting character;

  • The ability to build a long-lasting relationship with our customers and the knowledge to influence internal and external stakeholders.

  • You think in terms of opportunities and innovative solutions;

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and preferably Dutch (a third language like French, Spanish or Swedish is a plus) ;

  • The ability to engage with customers at C-level;

  • You are ready to seize opportunities and to make an impact at Penfield Digital

  • Help grow Penfield Digital to become a global Salesforce Marketing Cloud champion.

You get bonus points if you have:

  • Experience in marketing automation platforms, marketing clouds, CRM, ad platforms;

  • Experience in selling Salesforce Cloud solutions (Marketing Cloud and/or Service / Sales Cloud/Commerce Cloud) is a real advantage;

  • Solid understanding of Salesforce products and platform features, capabilities, and best use;

  • Having an existing network with Salesforce Execs to nurture our current alliance but also grow our relationship
